Ngorongoro Wildlife lodge overall was absolutely lovely!

Most of the lodges in Tanzania are in stunning locations obviously due to the geography and most have grand entrances and lobby areas.

The bar/lounge area is very comfortable with a fireplace for the cooler months.

For anyone who is into photography it's worth getting up early for the sunrises here!

The terrace runs the length of the lodge and sitting there soaking up the breathtaking view is just heaven.

This lodge also had lovely rooms, ours was not large but very comfortable - it was on the lower ground floor but we were not disadvantaged by this as the lodge sits at the edge of the crater and has split levels.

I imagine all rooms would have a spectacular view.

We had no problems with plumbing, hot water or cleanliness.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The food, as with most lodges in Africa, is rather average (and sometimes dissappointing) due to the buffet style which is usually not piping hot.

We are spoilt for the quality and variety of food in Australia and therefore I usually don't have high expectations when it comes to food when travelling to places such as this, however I do expect hot food to be hot.

Overall the quality and variety of the food could certainly be improved upon.
