12 Days Tanzania and Zanzibar Safari

This is the invitation guide of 12 Days Tanzania and Zanzibar Safari . Its a combined safari to Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater with romantic Zanzibar and its thrilling history.

Itinerary

Day 1:

On arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to Arusha. Overnight on Bed & Breakfast at Impala Hotel

Day 2:

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park arriving in time for lunch at the Tarangire Safari Lodge. Later proceed for afternoon game viewing. Lesser kudu, eland, lion and gerenuk can be found in this beautiful park, noted for its multitude of baobab trees and its tree-climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at the Tarangire Safari lodge

Day 3:

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area arriving in time for lunch at the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge. After lunch you will descend to the floor of the crater.

Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. Dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.

Day 4:

Drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge, the site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. Their findings include some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains.

Arrive at Serengeti Wildlife Lodge in time for lunch. After lunch continue with afternoon game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. Dinner and overnight at the Seronera Wildlife lodge.

Day 5 & 6:

Two full days of game viewing in the Serengeti. Meals and overnight at the Seronera Wildlife lodge in the Serengeti National Park

Day 7:

Enjoy an early morning game drive, before breakfast. Return to the lodge for late breakfast and then depart to Ngorongoro Highlands. Lunch at Gibbs Farm or similar. Afternoon visit to the waterfalls. Dinner and overnight at the Lake Manyara Hotel

Day 8:

After breakfast, you will have a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park whose inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree climbing lions, flamingos and other varieties of birdlife. Lunch at Lake Manyara Hotel, after lunch, drive back to Arusha for flight to Zanzibar. On arrival in Zanzibar you will be transferred to Zanzibar Safari Club. Dinner at Zanzibar Safari Club

Day 9 to 11:

Spend the days at the Swahili coast enjoying the white sundy beach of Zanzibar. Half board accommodation at Zanzibar Safari Club

After breakfast you will be transferred to Zanzibar airport for flight to Kilimanjaro to connect with your onward flight back home The package includes:

Accommodation with full board on safari and half board on Zanzibar, park entrance fees, service of an English speaking driver guide, transport and game drives, return flights Kilimanjaro – Zanzibar, airport transfers.
