Founded in 1901, the Nairobi Club is very much an integral part of Nairobi’s social and sporting culture.


For example, Nairobi Club boasts Kenya’s oldest cricket ground – although the pavilion has recently been refurbished.Kenya’s Davis Cup matches are also played here as the club is the headquarters of the Kenya Lawn Tennis Association (KLTA).

But there’s also an all-weather hockey pitch, squash courts (once againthe club is the headquarters of the Kenya Squash Racquets Association) and there’s also bowls and excellent swimming facilities.
