Details about Karen Blixen Coffee Garden Cottages

Built around 1908 and originally the farm manager’s house of the Swedo African Coffee Company on the Blixen Coffee Plantation. It has been maintained in its original form.

The beautiful garden restaurant and verandas are perfect for a lazy afternoon outdoors. Or you can dine in the formal L’Amour Restaurant with its two large fireplaces.

Savour the delights of Chef Pierre’s daily specials, which include French international cuisine.

There are 15 luxury guest rooms consisting of eight individual en-suite rooms with fireplace, three cottages with two rooms and central seating area and two fireplaces.

Live jazz in the gardens at Saturday lunchtimes and a special buffet lunch on Sundays.

The garden is a favorite spot for small, exclusive weddings and private functions.
