East Africa Diving Centre Zanzibar

Have you ever been to East Africa Diving Centre? My friend and I had a brilliant experience diving with Michael and his team at Nungwi.

His lovely wife and little Melody were a pleasure to deal with - gearing us up and pampering to us prior to our departure.

Although we were both PADI certified, one of us hadn't been in the water for a long time and Michael took great time and care to get us into the water and diving safely and with huge enjoyment.

We had 2 dives, the first was a wall dive off the side of the atol which was just great, stopping for an hour to enjoy the passing dolphins and Michael's constant stream of hilarious stories.

With few locals showing the environment the respect it deserves, these guys really practise care, love and respect for their marine surrounds.

Our second dive was just brilliant too - this time over the edge of the atoll towards the island. We saw eye popping amounts of beautiful marine life underwater and when we didn't, Michael was careful to point it out to us.

And as for the boat - yes it has no canopy but it's fast and a huge thrill - especially our beach landing upon our return! Hilarious. Thank-you for a truly fantastic dive experience - we'll be back.
