Hunters Steak House Mombasa

Hunters Steak House Mombasa is a traditional European steakhouse serving house aged Kenyan beef in a cosy home with garden.

It is owned and run by Mr. Riegger, a Swiss German, who used to be a wildlife hunter, but now is a restauranteur.

When you walk in, there is a cute little bar with wildlife items all over the back wall, including several heads (!) and a python skin. The waiters are dressed in safari uniforms with gun belts. Very cool.

Best Steaks in Mombasa without a doubt. Excellent oysters too.

This place is so good, my brother eats the Chateaubriand for 2, by himself! It is a really good place and if you are into your meat, then you definitely have to come here.

Service is very professional and reminds me of fine dining in the eighties.

Located in Mkomani, 15 minutes cab ride from North Coast, a few meters from the Tamarind.

Well worth a visit and one of the best places for steak.
