Misono Restaurant Mombasa

You are Here: › Misono Restaurant Mombasa

Misono Restaurant Mombasa lies in the Nyali Beach Area on the North Coast of Mombasa.

If you're in the area and you're fed up of the Hôtel food, you won't be disappointed by a visit of this excellent restaurant, with typical teppanyaki cooking tables and other tables where you can enjoy the rest of the meals on the menu card.

It is surprising how "japanese" the "coloured" local chefs can be while they operate at the Teppanyaki cooking table!!!

Wonderful! If you like Japanese food, then this is the place for you.

Not only does Mr. Song offer you very fresh Sushi & Sashimi, they are also known for their outstanding Teppanyaki cooking where the well trained chef cooks dishes for you on a large iron griddle in front of your eyes.

I have been to Japenese restaurants in Paris, London, Miami, New Delhi, Zürich, Geneva & Nairobi amongst others and can assure you that Misono is comparable to the best.

I actually prefer Misono to any other I have been to because the prices are so reasonable.

Can you imagine having a 5 course Teppanyaki menu prepared for you in front of your eyes which also includes a Lobster course for around 20 pounds!!!

Mr. Song is actually Korean by origin but is a trained and passionate Japanese chef. He has also trained his own Kenyan chefs and once you dine Teppanyaki there, you will know what I'm talking about.

Mombasa is of course by the Indian Ocean and fresh fish is the norm. Misono will ensure you have excellent yellow-fin Tuna as well as excellent prawns, crab and lobsters.

Everytime I'm in Mombasa, I dine here at least twice.
