A visit to Shehnai restaurant in Mombasa is a must not miss while on your vacation in Mombasa.

Shehnai means an Indian musical instrument which symbolises the ambience of "Shehnai" Restaurant where eating is an art and an exciting occasion.

They prepare mouth watering food that leaves you with pleasure and the appetite to go there again.

They also prepare carefully chosen vegetables, meat, poultry and sea food made with the best spices and ingredients.

We were taken here by some friends as an alternative to the Indian restaurant we usually use.

Its family run and the owner was on hand to offer his advice when reading the menu.

There is plenty of choice with something to suit all.

Despite being very busy the service was good and we weren't presurised into hurrying when people queued at the door for tables.

Complimentary icecream was offered to us too. My only small gripe is it doesn't serve alcohol. Would definitely use again.
