4 of us went for a meal to La Marina Restaurant Mombasa .

It was a bit last minute as the restaurant where we originally we going to was closed.

Although we didn't book when we arrived the staff were really great and arranged a table for us.

We had to wait for a short period of time, but given that we hadn't booked that was our fault.

We all had starters and shared a portion of crocodile, just to try it (don't think I would have it agin, but that's just personal taste!).

We then all had lobster, which was really good.

The portions were very large and none of us could finish our main courses.

The bill was quite expensive, but given what we ate, it wasn't that bad and I am sure if we had eaten what we had at la marina in the UK it would have cost a lot more.

We sat at a table outside looking over the marina which was lovely.

It was defiantly worth going and I would recommend a visit.

The only think I would say is don't be worried about the location of the restaurant.

It is down what looks like a bit of a dirt track and at one point we did wonder why the taxi driver was taking us this far. But all in all a must visit restaurant in Mombasa Kenya
