YMCA Dar es Salaam Accommodation

I choose YMCA Dar es Salaam because of good area (in city center in front of Holiday inn hotel and not far from Subway fast food) . Rooms were simple and clean, bathrooms were not great but definitely not the worse we saw.

The canteen does cheap food and drinks which we really liked and there is also an internet cafe downstairs.

Really easy to get taxis out the front, 5 minutes from a subway! and the main post office. Nothing fancy but was safe and suited us for one night.

YMCA Youth Hostel is locate along Ali Hassani Mwinyi Road near New Postal office.

It is walking distance to the ferry to Zanzibar. Small bar and restaurant are available for residence and people from outside.

We will be able to book for you accommodation at this hostel if you wish us to do that for you. Room range from 15$ to 30$ with breakfast.

It is clear and very safe place for your stay. Easily walking to the city centre and other interesting places.
