Admittedly I have not been to Thailand and have not had the indigenous experience. Despite that I find what is served at Thai Chi Restaurant nairobi is food par excellence!

The service is impeccable and so friendly yet maintaining an attitude of making you feel like a king.

Special attention to so much detail is refreshing especially when so many places in the world are filled with so much attitude that you feel quite intimidated and wonder whether your custom is appreciated or that you are being done a favour by being allowed to enter and dine!

The menu is great and I have tried most of it more than once.

I have not been disappointed yet. Infact I am so converted to the eastern cuisine that my palate rebels when I have anything else.

It is pricey but their wine selection makes up for it. Great choice without breaking the bank and somebody has made sure that the choices available go well with the food offered. My home away from home!!!!!!!

The menu is fairly extensive. Soups, salads, appetisers, chicken, duck, seafood, pork, lamb and beef!

I started with a Tom Yam Gai soup. Delicately flavoured both in terms of its spice and its authenticity.

A couple of cherry tomatoes were thrown in to balance the lack of lemongrass.

I would highly recommend anyone who would want an authentic Thai experience or anyone who would want a great business / romantic dinner!
