Our stay at Tandala Tented Camp and Ruaha national park in Tanzania surpassed our expectations!

Thanks to Dionysia, John, our guides, the masais, ... for your warm welcoming,

help and guidance, exciting facts and stories before and during our stay.

Your contributions and efforts made our adventure incredible special!

Tandala Tented Camp is an Oasis for wildlife and heaven for people! This camp is a little way out of Ruaha National Park but this does not make any difference.

The camp has a watering hole which attracts huge numbers of elephants, which you can watch and admire from a very short distance!!!!(short- being the most important word here).

Accommodation is out of this world along with the attention to detail of John the owner and all his family and staff.

The food, which was delicious, is served outside in the centre of camp by the best trained waiters I have come across for years. The maasai guards were amazing and so friendly. Pool was very welcome.

While we were during the night the camp was visited by Leopards, Lions and Hyenas and of course the elephants!!

During our 3 night stay we spent 2 days out on safari.

The camps guide Moses and his driver knew exactly were to find the wildlife tracking by footprints etc.

We pretty much saw everything there was to see in the park and were extremely lucky to see Leopards and Cheetah which we were told is not so common!

I was amazed at how near we got to all the animals too!!! The guides kept telling us it was fine the Lions etc. hard full tummies!!

Ruaha National Park is smaller than others but with all the animals you would wish to see and without the crowds for a fraction of the cost. I would recommend this Park to everyone.
This part of out visit to Tanzania surpassed all our expectations!!! Well done John!!!
