I cannot recommend Swiss Farm Cottage in Lushoto Tanzania highly enough.

We live in Kampala Uganda and needed a break from the city and are so glad we found Swiss Farm Cottage.

Sepp and his team will treat you like family.

The accommodations are excellent, with beautiful views and cozy atmosphere (including a fire-place) The food alone is worth making the trip for.

Sepp's amazing home-cooking was a perfect way to end a long day of hiking. Peter, the guide is simply a pleasure to go on hikes with.

He is extremely knowledgeable and easy-going and will keep up with any pace. For two weary city slickers, this was the perfect escape.

We will definitely be returning. I have recommended Swiss Farm Cottage to others who have not been disappointed.

Sepp and his Swiss Farm Cottage team welcome all guests with a clean and cosy place in the mountains of Usambara.

The farm is located in the mountains and offers besides of the great location in the cool and green mountains, many things to explore.

Trekking, cooking and hand-carving area few examples.
Sepp has been living in Tanzania for ages and knows many stories and insights about the continent, the country and of course the Usambara mountains.

Not only this knowledge, but also his cooking skills made the stay at his place very pleasant for us.

It feels like being in the middle of Swiss alps. Beautiful, relaxed and chilled out place with wonderful food and very friendly staff.

The accommodation is very clean, comfortable and highly romantic. The perfect place for a couple.

Both Sepp who runs the place as well as Peter who is the carpenter and tour guide are very friendly and accommodating.
