St Catherine Monastery Accommodation in Arusha

I just came back from an amazing safari in Feb and stayed at St Catherine Monastery 's for one night. Would you like to experience a “particular " holiday in a serene surrounding, in close contact with nature and life of local people?

It's managed by a group of Tanzanian Nuns Member of Camaldolesian Order.

The monastery a charming, cosy and friendly place for those looking for an alternative type of accommodation or just to drop by to have a meal.

Rooms for guests are in a separate wing (surrounding a beautiful courtyard) from the nuns' quarters in the Italian style building.

Bedrooms are ensuite (with heated shower), spacious and clean. Costs US$40 for bed and breakfast. Lunch and dinner can be arranged. I had all meals there
