I spent 2 enjoyable nights at Southern Sun Dar Salaam hotel. Very good food in the restaurant and what can only described as the best breakfast in Tanzania, period. The staffs from reception, restaurant and housekeeping were always friendly and smiling.
There is a small pool in the garden although I
didn’t take the plunge so to speak, it looked very clean as was the whole
hotel.
There is a TV in the bar which shows football
and had a good mix of locals and tourists’ the service was very good and the
beer was cold.
The room was well furnished with TV and safe,
the bathroom was clean and bright.
If you are looking for a place to stay in Dar
look no further, Southern Sun is by far the best value and as I said before,
has the best breakfast in Africa.
Many thanks to the barman, sorry can’t remember
his name, for making me feel very welcome whilst watching the Man Utd match.
