Shompole Lodge Magadi

You are Here:    ›     ›  Shompole Lodge Magadi

Shompole Lodge Magadi is a luxury lodge located on the Nguruman Escarpment in the Rift Valley. It owes its existence to a visionary Kenyan conservationist who partnered with the local Maasai people in a new form of eco-tourism.

The six extremely spacious and open rooms are all individually designed with local textures and materials - the smooth white walls and little water streams flowing through the rooms create a fresh and relaxing atmosphere and feed the plunge pools that are great for refreshment in the heat of the day.

More about Shompole Lodge

The views from all rooms as well as from the central lounge and pool area are simply indescribable - the wide plains of the rift valley and the majestic Shompole Mountain convey an ambiance of ultimate peace.

To those who manage to extract themselves from the magic of these views, Shompole offers day and night game drives to view the abundant game, mountain biking through the conservancy, bush walks in the plains and on the escarpment and sundowner visits to Lake Natron amidst the flamingoes.

Candlelit bush dinners on the salt pan with Shompole mountain as a back drop and dramatic Maasai warrior dances add to the unforgetable memories of your stay at Shompole.
