We could not have dreamt about a better place on Earth than the plains of the Serengeti National Park to celebrate our 25th birthday of my girlfriend.

Serengeti Bushtops Camp will be kept in our minds and in our hearts as the most memorable and extraordinary experience ever in a lifetime.

Truly special, unique and one of a kind.

Pantaleo, the camp manager, a man with a charisma, is passionate on his job and is eager to offer nothing but the best to his guests.

I admire his personality and generosity, which make us feel like a King and a Queen.

Our 6-day-stay was an incredible experience of luxury and dedication, surrounded by one of the most unforgettable and fascinating nature fulfilled only with the sound and the smell of the savannah.

Our guide, Jaffery, had a great knowledge of wildlife and our spotter, Yusuf, made our day drives so fruitful, thanks to his amazing eyesight.

We had a lot of chance to see a large number of wild animals from the savannah to the Mara River.

The breathtaking view of wildlife simply went beyond all our expectations and it was the safari experience, which we will never ever forget, for the rest of our life.

Our butler, John, who was working around the clock.

A hot tub with the heart shaped petals of rose, a fresh mango juice and delicious canapés were always waiting for us after every single game drives.

He pampered us with special attentions and sincere thoughts to make our holidays so memorable throughout our stay.

Thanks to Eva’s daily magical massage, this made my single muscle totally refreshed, after the long day drives, for a new challenge of the next day.

I must admit that it was a real “treat” to enjoy the 180 degrees breathtaking panorama view of the endless plains & the most beautiful African sunset every day from the shower or the veranda.

How incredibly tight I slept on the comfortable bed with a hot water bottle placed under the blanket, which kept us warm every night.

We sat down together with a drink with Pantaleo, Elias, assistant camp manager, and all the rangers around the fire camp having a wonderful time and reviewing the day every evening.

Many thanks to Eric, the executive chef, and Martin, the assistant chef, for the excellent and delicious 3 course “a la carte” menu at lunch and dinner time, and especially for the daily “chef’s special” which surprised us every night. We loved and miss the filet beef rolled with bacon and mashed potatoes.

Thanks to Pantaleo and Elias for your company sitting down with us in front of the fireplace, sharing the precious time and helping us improving our Swahili.

I would have never imagined that one single journey could change my life forever, to the point that I disparately need to go back to that particular part on this earth to find the serenity, the peace and the happiness.

Every time I close my eyes, reviewing what we experienced, I just burst into tears ...

Today, we have only one wish in mind. That is to go back to Bushtops Serengeti very very soon.
