The spacious tents contain four poster beds, mahogany closets and writing desks and en-suite bathrooms withshowers.

All public areas are palm-thatched and raised on stilts to catch the cooling river breeze.

The main dining room seats 60 and opens on to a river view terrace where guests can enjoy buffet breakfasts and lunches.

Other facilities include a spacious lounge and bar, a conference room and a shaded free-form swimming pool.

Activities include twice-daily game drives with resident guides; camel and walking safaris outside the reserve; bush breakfasts and dinners under the stars; sundowners; visits to the neighbouring Samburu communities; and traditional dances.
