The Pemba Channel Fishing Club is Africa’s renowned fishing destination with specialty in marlin fishing. Striped, Black and Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Broadbill, Mako, Tiger and other sharks, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Dorado, Giant Trevally and many other lesser game fish.

The Pemba Channel is widely known, not only as the best place to fish in Kenya but probably the best place in the whole of Africa.

The Pemba Channel Fishing Club has a world-wide reputation for its Marlin catches, holding 75% of all marlin records caught out of Shimoni, 54% of all Kenyan marlin records and 7 all-Africa marlin records.

You, too, might well have your name up in lights, as many records are still vacant, especially amongst the ladies' categories.

Location:

The Pemba Channel Fishing Club is situated in the tiny fishing village of Shimoni, 80kms south of Mombasa at South Coast close to Wasini.

Accommodation:

A total of 20 guests can be accommodated in the simple white bandas set in tropical gardens. Each bungalow is light and airy, is individually furnished and is spotlessly clean.

The beds are larger than average and all cottages have huge mosquito nets. Each cottage is en-suite with the best showers on the coast!
