Nob View Hotel

Happy to recommend Nob View Hotel one of the best budget hotels in Kampala City Uganda. It's located in a nice, garden residential area just off the busy Bukoto Ntinda Road. Several nice restaurants and the Kabira Country Club are all within walking distance. The rooms are basic, but clean.

There was hot water in the shower and the toilets worked. Good mattresses.

Most rooms seem to have balconies with nice views over the area. We saw no elevators and there were many stairs, so this is not an option if you have trouble climbing stairs.

Breakfast is good, but you have to ask them for toast and omelettes/sausages - they don't offer!

There's also a big pool, clean and quite nice. Internet area with high speed internet (free) behind the reception.

Some noise at night from nearby night clubs, but they do close eventually (just before the roosters get started).

Seriously, we slept well! The staff was very friendly and helpful, from head of reception to cleaning lady. We recommend their laundry service: efficient and cheap! We stayed here for almost a week while preparing for safari in Western Uganda and found it very good value for money.
