It is always a pleasure. I am not too sure whether this is because of the Hotel Sea Cliff itself and its lovely setting or whether it is because on each visit to Dar es Salaam I have the chance to catch up with my sister and her husband who are currently living close to the hotel.
That said, the hotel is well situated on the sea front on the edge of a small cliff (no guesses where they got their name).
The hotel has recently changed management but the experience remains the same...I even got bumped up to the Presidential Suite as they were full that night – what an experience.
The rooms are generally quite spacious, very
neat and clean and I certainly always have a great night’s sleep – which is not
always the case when sleeping in beds away from home.
The hotel also has a restaurant which serves
good food.
In general a great experience and reasonably
priced.
Set among lush, beautifully manicured gardens beside the Indian Ocean, 93 rooms nestle in an idyllic and tranquil setting. For those requiring that extra touch, the hotel offers seven Executive Rooms, five Executive Suites and one magnificent Presidential / Honeymoon Suite.
The rooms have a contemporary feel with a strong Swahili design influence to combine modern elegance with traditional Tanzanian warmth and character.
All rooms have individually controlled air conditioning, satellite television, mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial telephone, digital safe, and complimentary wireless internet.
We also have 21 Village Rooms located next door in Sea Cliff Village shopping center, offering great value for money with full access to the main hotel’s facilities.
