Cinders House Vacation Rental Diani Mombasa

We found Cinders house Vacation Rental Dianin Mombasa by chance on the internet and were very happy with our choice. The location of Cinders is fantastic - 2 minutes from Ukunda Airstrip (2 daily flights from Nairobi on 540) and a 2 minute stroll to the beach.

The pool is beautiful and our kids spent every minute they could in it. The house has 4 large bedrooms, all en-suite, the master bathroom including a bath, all had air conditioning which was very welcome at night.

The staff, Gertrude, Nixon and Benjamin were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Marc, the owner was very welcoming (next time I fancy trying a go on your micro light!!).

We ate in 3 of our 5 nights and 2 nights we ate out at 40 thieves (great beach bar with good food where kids can run around on the fabulous beach) and Nomads (more upmarket than 40 thieves but great location and good food).

We went jet skiing at Ocean Dreams (about 15 minutes away by taxi next to Lantana Hotel) and enjoyed what my daughter described as the ;'the coolest thing she has ever done in her life......' Well worth the money (and the aching muscles the following day).

The house is as relaxing as you could get, the kids were able to watch DSTV on a great TV when they were tired and it was too hot. Thoroughly recommended. Look after the staff and they will really look after you. Don't be surprised to see us back Marc.

The most impressive aspect is the long veranda at the poolside of the house, with Lamu-style beds for relaxing, huge, private swimming pool.
