Shelly Beach Hotel

Well what can you say about Shelly Beach Hotel Diani Mombasa? We arrived there at about 2pm on a rather overcast day.
Fast forward 2 days on and this was probably the best holiday I've ever had! Yes the hotel is not great but hey a holiday is made up of many parts.

We did a Safari in Tsavo East and West which was truly amazing - we went to Bamburi Park for a day - again super!

The evening entertainment in the hotel was amazing with some great things to experience from snake handling to tribal dancing - brilliant.

This isn't the Ritz - but then again you're not paying Ritz money. Go on Safari - chat to locals - go snorkling - go to the markets - relax and enjoy Kenya. It’s a wonderful country!

The Shelly Beach Club was one of the best holidays I have had, if you are wanting a 5* hotel and star chef food you will not like it.

Go with an open mind (remember it’s in a 3rd world country) the food was good, beer was great, staff are brilliant.

Vince and mr weeverman to name but 2. I would truly recommend this place
