Zawadi House in Arusha

Ignore the approach road to Zawadi House - once you get inside the gate you will have an experience equal to anything you might find in a top class hotel in Nairobi.

We spent the first and last nights of our safari at Zawadi Hotel arusha. The rooms were clean and very well appointed the equal of any nice business class hotel in the Nairobi, including air conditioning that felt pretty good when it was very hot out, and a nice shower.

Staff

The staff could not have been more friendly or attentive; they even let us use their computer when our charger was missing.

Food

Meals were tasty and served in a very nice second-story dining room with windows on two sides to enjoy the lovely grounds and fresh air.

Location

Not an ideal place if you want to walk to town, because it is located a little off the main roads; but for a night or two when you just want to be pampered, it was terrific.

It’s lovely, serene and cozy. Great meals, polite staff, great WIFI and wonderful rooms. Its absolutely worth it!
