Zanzibar Mtoni Marine Restaurant

This was truly one of the most delicious meals I've ever had, and definitely one of the most amazing settings, and Zanzibar Mtoni Marine Restaurant wasn't outrageously expensive.

The salad, main courses, and dessert were all incredible. The tables are on the beach under the stars, and it's just breathtaking.

I cannot recommend it enough.

In our opinion this restaurant is the best in or near stone town.

We love the beach location, the taarab music most evenings, and of course the food!

Don't mix up this gorgeous restaurant with the hotel's "mcheza bar" which does serve food but is a sports bar!

Mtoni restaurant is a very very nice restaurant, nestled in the garden and beach of the hotel - a few minutes walk from the sports bar.

We would highly recommend this restaurant to friends and tourists alike, its actually a 'well-kept secret' and very much worth a taxi ride out of town if you are staying in Stone Town.
