Xanadu Beach Villa Vacation Rental in Mombasa is at Kikambala, near Mombasa on the Kenya coast. It is an ideal vacation place for family and for friends. You get more privacy. We are less formal and we want you to enjoy your vacation.

Xanadu is self catering but our staff will help as much as they can so that you have more time to enjoy the swimming pool, the beach, the sun, the ocean breezes or simply doze off to the tune of the wind and waves.

All apartments are on the ground floor so restricted mobility and wheelchair guests should have few problems.
We love pet lovers but prefer that visitors not bring their pets.

Smokers are welcome but should not smoke in the bedrooms or public areas. Kenya law imposes some restrictions on where one can smoke.

Children are welcome. Visitors wishing to reduce costs may wish to accomodate children on the sofa beds.

Each of the two bungalows has a single appartment with a bedroom and kitchen/dining/living area and a double appartment with two bedrooms and a kitchen/living/dining area.

The maisonette has two bedrooms and a kitchen/dining/living area.

The maisonette has the largest combined kitchen/living/dining area followed by the double units in the bungalows.

All furnishings including bathrooms are of the highest standards. Each appartment is equipped with a sofa bed. Guests can use the poolside/beachside huts for relaxation or or enjoying a meal.

The pool and the beach are a few metres away, so if you have children, you can keep them within sight.

Some bathrooms are supplied with a shower and bathtub. Others have a jacuzzi/shower/tub facility.

The water in the swimming pool is usually warm. We have added rooftop solar panels to increase pool temperature. The internal dimensions of the pool are 12.4 metres by 7.1 metres. The deep end is 1.72M, the shallow end 1.12M.

Small dhows often sail by and are available to guests who want to take a short sailing trip.

For those who want to go fishing, facilities are no far away. Guests can also book a dinner on a large dhow at one of two local restaurants.

The offshore reef is very popular. Guests can walk to the reef from the villa.
