Villa Biba is in the friendly, unspoilt village of Jambiani.
The house is enormous, with 5 double bedrooms and 4 huge bathrooms, 3 reception rooms, kitchen, balcony, verandah and gardens.
The house is beautifully decorated in the Zanzibar style. Eight of us stayed and there was plenty of room for at least 3 more.
The house is situated right on the beautiful white beach facing east, so that you have an amazing view of the Indian ocean.
I am missing that view and the soothing sound of the waves so much!!
The staff are wonderful and couldn't do enough to make our stay as pleasant and relaxing as possible.
The breakfasts were amazing and really filling. We used a chef for evening meals which was very reasonable, as well as delicious!
Jambiani is well situated for visiting many
parts of the island, if you can tear yourself away from the villa.
We loved being taken out on a dhow to explore the reef and to snorkle. Hassan, one of the staff, is a fantastic guide and took us on several exciting trips, including Jozani forest and Stone Town.
We wanted a holiday of a lifetime and Villa Biba
and the staff certainly provided that. I would definitely recommend staying
here. The house and the holiday were everything we hoped for and so much more!
