Overview of Tsavo Park Hotel Institute

Tsavo Institute of Technology formally known as Tsavo Park Hotel Institute is one of the most unique training facility in Kenya. It is Situated in Voi town between the world famous Tsavo East and Tsavo West National Parks.

 Tsavo ecosystem being a main tourist circuit, is a wonderful training ground for the tourism and hospitality industry.

Our practical classes in hospitality courses are held in Tsavo Lodge which is a tourist class hotel

Kenya is blessed with so many tourism facilities such as beach hotels, lodges, camps, tour firms, cultural centres, museums, to name just but a few.

Unfortunately very few people are trained to professionally cope with challenges of these facilities. Tsavo Institute of Technology was founded in the year 2000 to equip the youth and other interested persons in the industry with the necessary professional skills.

 It started with 22 students taking hotel and tourism courses.

The institute now offers various disciplines namely; hospitality, tourism, business, information Technology, and community development with a lot of emphasis on practical exposure. This is aimed at developing confident manpower with hands on experience.

To date over 1500 students have passed through the institute with excellent grades. Some students have been awarded medals of excellence from examining bodies. Most are working as managers in various organizations, others have even established their own businesses.
