The Sleeping Warrior Camp

I am a travel agent in Uganda Kampala and had sent my sister and her boyfriend for a weekend away.

They really loved their stay here.

They got great food.

My sister said it was the best she has had in any hotel/lodge.

They were upgraded to the special tent/room which has a star bed and star bath- the bed can roll out.

they slept under the stars and woke up to the sunrise.

They met the managers, who were very accommodating and got to know them a little bit more. the service was excellent.

This is a great place for those who don't want to be in a hotel but also don't want to rough it out.

The food was very good and every meal was different.

The staff was very kind and courteous. Lawson, the manager on site, was very helpful.

The game drives in the area are fabulous. What is different from other parks is that you can really go off-road here and get quite close to the animals (like giraffes) without disturbing them.

We saw flamingos in flight and that was a spectacular site. Also, because this area is not as popular as other parks like Masai Mara, you won't be surrounded by large groups of tourists.

It is also nice to see the various animals drinking in the small pond that can be seen from the veranda and some of the tents.

I am sending another couple there shortly... definitely recommends it from the time of reservation till the end of stay.
keep up the great service
