Terrace Restaurant and Zuane

Terrace Restaurant and Zuane are for me the two best italian restaurants in DAR. Terrace Restaurant lies only a "stone throw" away from my place. Emphasis is on the really fresh seafood.

However pasta and pizza lovers too have a good choice. A big variety of starters. Very friendly service, especially the lady who works with ATC as well!

On a rainy day you can sit under the roof. Not cheap but the food quality is worth the money.

This restaurant is located in the upper level of the Slipway shopping complex with views over the bay and to the mainland.

Really good service, a reaonable (not great but pretty good for Dar es Salaam) winelist, open air grill, and an extensive menu.

Food is well prepared and uses fresh ingredients.

Location does not get the cooling breezes that make the other side of the peninsula so nice.

Good value for the money and a romantic ambience make this a good dining experience.
