Mbale Sunrise Inn

Sunrise Inn Hotel in Mbale Town Uganda is a real gem of a hotel, not far from Mbale town centre and within easy driving distance of some spectacular sights in the surrounding hills.

There is nothing overly luxurious or modern about it, but my room was extremely comfortable, everything worked in the clean bathroom, and a complimentary fruit bowl was waiting on a table.

The restaurant and bar offered a reasonable range of food and drink, and the extensive breakfast buffet could hardly be faulted.

And to top it all, the staff were universally helpful and friendly. For its modest price it would be difficult to expect more.
