Springlands Hotel Moshi

You are Here: › Springlands Hotel

Springlands hotel Moshi Tanzania is basically a staging point for travellers climbing Kilimanjaro. You will stay here before and after your climb.

So your expectations should be based on that fact. Compared to staying on a tent for 5+ nights on the mountain, it can be considered luxury.

But overall it was a nice hotel, the staff was very friendly, and the breakfast and dinner buffets were good and hearty.

The hotel itself has a big courtyard which is always very busy, especially in the morning and evenings when groups are going back and forth from Kili.

Also its a nice area to relax and order a cheap beer, and meet the many other travellers staying there.

The rooms were ok, just what you need before and after your climb. I believe there is a Muslim mosque or community center nearby, and sometimes during the night and early mornings they are doing prayers over loudspeakers and this can disturb your sleep. But overall it is a very nice hotel for its purpose.

Remember though you are in Tanzania not the your home and we do have some sporadic electricity problems and some of our roads are not as smooth as your main street, but you will have the "Bucket List" adventure of your life!
