Kigali Select Boutique Hotel

While it is not exactly cheap, Select Boutique Hotel in Kigali Rwanda is a lovely new hotel in a safe and very nice part of Kigali.

The rooms are comfortable and spacious (our bathroom was enormous!), the wi-fi is free and fast, and the service is extremely attentive.

The best part of our stay, though, was the breakfast. There was a great selection of items to choose from and the coffee was much better than what we had elsewhere in Rwanda.

Most big hotels in Kigali are of average to high standard, but lack the charm & feeling of local Kigali life.

Select Hotel is the best of both worlds. It's small, set in a rural, quiet neighbourhood and has the quality of many high standard boutiques in Europe.

The rooms are very spacey and of all comfort. Bathroom is almost as big as the room itself! The building itself is set on top of a hill with amazing views of Kigali.

The hotel is actually better known for it's restaurant, so that will tell you the quality of the food is very high. Breakfast is very elaborate with mouth watering pieces of fresh fruits.

All in all the best place to stay when in Kigali. Especially when the bigger chains can not charm you like they could me
