Sakina Campsite

You are Here: › Sakina Campsite

Sakina Campsite situated along Uhuru Highway, is only 30 minutes walk to Arusha town. The camp has a nicely furnished 5 bedroomed bungalow. The rooms come in singles, twin, doubles, tripples and dorm beds, either in private or shared bathrooms.

The bathrooms have a 24 hour hot shower supply. The facility also has a nice camping site, self catering services and a tourist information desk.

The lady that owns Sakina Campsite is all that. She was so helpful and friendly.

The house is comfortable and has all you need. The staff, who are local workers depending on this type of work, will cook you a great dinner served around a big table with whoever shows up.

Other Hotels and Safari Lodges in Arusha

Pamoja Expedition Lodge | Colobus Mountain Lodge & Campsite | Arusha Backpackers Hotel | Bama Kambi | KIA Lodge |   Wild Africa Lodge | La mamba Vacation Rental |

You can get tour pick-ups and whatever else you need from here. It is safe and has a bus at the door.

The lady who owns the place is very helpful for arranging safaris and everything and the place is good value for money.

The problem is it is far away from the town and even though the centre of Arusha is not that nice it would be easier to be closer since everybody says you should be back in your hotel before it gets dark!!!!

The staff is very friendly and helful also and the ensuite room was ok.You can also put your tent in the garden and the place is guarded all day long.

This really was a nice place to stay. The host was great, nice breakfast (free) nice bed. From the backyard you can see Mt. Meru, nice view!

The host was very helpfull. She arranged some things for me, she made sure I could take a dalla dalla, use the internet somewhere near the city.

I do have to say, If you like to be close to the city, get close to the city, otherwise you pay way to much for your taxi to go back and forth.
