Arusha Safariland Cottages

Staying at Safariland Cottages is like staying with your favourite relatives. Csilla and Ben Koka and their daughter Rehema treat guests like family.

When I first stayed there, I arrived to find an invitation to their daughter's wedding waiting for me!

Although they had never met me, they didn't want me to feel left out so they brought me along to the wedding the next day!

The cozy cottages are tucked away in a beautiful garden and provide everything you could need for a great price.

Not luxury, but very clean and comfortable. The Kokas and their staff are happy to help you with anything you need and know everything there is to know about Arusha and the surrounding area.

Safariland is a small country cottage guaranteeing privacy, personal attention and exceptional service.

The twelve cottages offer self – contained accommodation with an excellent combination of unique comfort and African style and décor.

Each cottage has its own tranquil Verandah with a little breakfast setting for two where you can relax with a cold drink, a book or a nice conversation or simply just admire the beautiful tropical garden.

Cottages contain either one double or two single beds. High ceiling to ensure good ventilation and cool environment for your comfort. Mosquito gauze is fixed on each window to ensure your protection in the entire room.

Each room has a private bathroom with uninterrupted hot water 24 hours a day.

I would highly recommend Safariland Cottages in Njiro to anyone looking for a home away from home in Arusha.

From here we started our safari tour to Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti - and we finished it. It is located perfect for those purposes and we very much enjoyed the hospitality and service of Cszilla.

Beautiful garden with lush flowers and plants, cozy atmosphere in the two cottages we rent and excellent price for all that.

This home like guest house is a surprise. It located in quiet suburb of Arusha. I like its lovely and beautiful garden very much. Rooms are cozy and clean.

The lady who run this small guest house, Mrs Csilla, also cooked the delicious dinner and breakfast for us. Another thing to refer is they have two big dogs to guard the house at night.
