Safari Lodge Zanzibar is situated near to the ferry port, in an narrow streets but not on a difficult place.

An Indian family running place, reception is open to communicate and help.

Clean, ensuite-rooms are spacious and well decorated and furnished.


A/C is working and bathroom was decent.

In the rooms there is a comfy bed,table and some chairs,Tv,radio,head lamp and wardrobe, kettle and fridge is ready andgiving western standarts.

But some rooms especially down stairs may not be in 
same standards,

Please contact and agree with them. Breakfast is O.K. and filling.

If your standards are not high this an alternative decent place (might be a bit pricey) for to stay in Stonetown.

Unfortunately Stone town is not an exact place for swimming because, very near to port.

In the north side, Nungwi etc,white sands and beaches are waiting you. This hotel is not far from the matatu (special bus) stand to go to the north, though it is around two hours journey. For a couple of days for Stone town,
Worth to go and I want to come again.
