Osy Grand Hotel in Moshi Town Tanzania was one of my most wonderful holiday there. In case of the hotel I want to emphasize the catering and the service.
They were beyond my expectations. Fantastic culinary exploration, as well as very polite and prepared staff... I felt privileged!
I can speak only in superlatives, and highly recommended to anyone, indeed! I wish I could go back there one day :DDD Tanzania is beautiful.
This is by far the best of the budget hotels in Moshi.
There are fancier places outside of the city center which are expensive and have swimming pools, but OSY is the best bang for your buck if you are looking for clean and comfortable at reasonable rates.
Clean rooms, private bathrooms, quiet, a restaurant, and free wireless!! The staff was terrific.
It's in the heart of the city - perfect if you are there on business or like to get out of your hotel and mix with the community.
The OSY has everything I need and you can't beat their prices. I will definitely go back.
I felt as if the staff were my Tanzanian family.
My room had air con a fan and also fly nets at the window enabling the window to stay open without any mosquito or flies getting in, not that I had any experiences with mosi or flies whilst there.
The bed was comfy with fresh white sheets and clean towels daily.
My room had a shower, hand basin and toilet, all very clean and modern.
There was a tv with many channels available in english to watch if you want to.
The breakfast was fresh juice, a range of fresh fruit to choose from, toast, jams, eggs
(scrambled, fried, omelette) and tea and coffee. No one should feel hungry after breakfast.
The restaurant is on the 1st floor and has 3 balconies that look out onto the street and towards Kilimanjaro.
There is a large choice of delicious freshly cooked dishes to choose from off the menus, it is freshly prepared quality food, not fast food.
If you have any questions or are not sure about something then the staff are all happy to help you. This hotel is reasonably priced and in a great location with roof top views all over Moshi.
