Onami Grill and Sushi Bar is one of the finest Japanese restaurants in Kenya with an amazing cocktail list.

The first thing that will come to your attention when you walk in is the dim lighting,

the glowing white walls, and the small shrub-like trees scattered all over the place, reminiscent of an old Japanese novel.

The food is savoury; some dishes could be improved in terms of quantity but the great taste makes up for this shortfall.

A branch of an excellent Israeli sushi restaurant, Onami offers the best sushi in town by far, as well as excellent cocktails.

Food does not come cheap but is creative. The setting is not very atmospheric, but at night it has its charm and tries to be as posh as can be. It's a classic haunt for internationals working in Nairobi.
