The best cheap bush vacation accommodation at Ol Donyo Wuas in Kenya ,Set in some of Kenya’s most dramatic scenery, Ol Donyo lies in the foothills of the Chyulu Range, halfway between the Tsavo and Amboseli national parks and just a 45 minutes flight from Nairobi.

Accommodation consists of seven individual cottages, built from local materials, with spectacular views of Kilimanjaro.

Each cottage has en-suit bathroom with solar electricity and hot water.

Two cottages have an extra bedroom for guests with young children. Donyo has exclusive use of over 300,000 acres of Maasai-owned wilderness, providing ample opportunities for cultural interaction, horse riding, open vehicle game drives, night game drives and walking in the Chyulu Hills.

A wide range of wild animals can be viewed, including elephants, cheetah, gazelle, giraffe, hyena, jackal, leopard, lion, ostrich, rhino, wildebeest, and zebra.

Donyo has been highly recommended in the British Airways Tourism for Tomorrow Awards for its community projects and echo-friendly practices. No age restrictions, but parental supervision required for under fives.
