Nzimano Hotel

You are Here: › Nzimano Hotel

My friend and I arrived at Nzimano Hotel late after a long trip from Mwanza, and there had been some confusion about our room, but the staff was so friendly and did everything they could to provide good service.

The view from the hotel is stunning, and the rooms pretty basic. They have just done some maintenance.

Nzimano Hotel is one of the few hotels and better places to stay in Kigoma.

Nzimano Hotel is still a budget hotel though, and you can stay for a hostel price in a nice place, with a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

The rooms are basic but comfortable, and there is always a nice breeze coming from the lake. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and most of them speak English. You can get freshly cooked food all day, which is of good quality.

Besides, Nzimano Hotel is owned and run by the Diocese of Kigoma. The Diocese of Kigoma runs many institutions in the region that the government doesn't provide, such as schools, health centres, children's homes, and a hospital.

The profits made by Nzimano Hotel go to those institutions and therefore directly benefit the community of Kigoma.
