Malindi has many bars and clubs to go out catering for quiet intimate drinks or big boozy parties. Most hotels offer some shows of African dances, which are made for tourists, the sound of the drums is excellent and customs are quite colorful.

Some bars and clubs open a bit later and stay open until the early morning hours. A nice thing about drinking in Malindi is that the drinks are relatively more inexpensive than other parts of Kenya. See some Bars and Clubs:

The Palm Garden, which opens up at 8:30pm and located on Lamu Road, has live entertainment.

Stardust Discotheque, open daily from 9.00 pm, is another excellent place to go to, considered the last word in club sophistication. On Thursday nights they have Italian Night.

Fermento Karaoke & Piano Bar, open from 11.00pm. This is a great place to go to; here you can sing your favorite songs or just listen to some good music. Fermentos open only in the high season.
