Nairobi Zen Garden Restaurant

Nairobi Zen Garden Restaurant was going downhill fast two years ago,

but it was given a kick in the backside and everything bounced back.

It is now my friends favourite place and my 2nd favourite in Nairobi.

We always recommend it to visitors and its usually the first place we take people.

White Magic and the Kamikaze are knockout sushi (I could eat tempura basil leaves all day long),

The beef dishes are tasty and plenty on offer from the cocktail list.

Other Restaurants in Nairobi 

Service is at a high level (allthough they know us well by now) and they do seem to cope with the busy days when everyone wants to be outside.

My choice for my last birthday. Tucked in Lower Kabete, the place is simply gorgeous. Menu is mostly fusion Oriental but very, very good.

Service is also good, considering good service is very hard to find in Kenya. went there on a friday night.. got a place without too much of an issue.. the server was very friendly and the food was simply amazing!!!!

One tip: if you are ordering a chicken gravy order a veg fried rice with it.. they give a lot of meat in their dishes.. so some vegetables are nice to have along with the food.
