Nairobi Seven Seafood and Grill

We've eaten at Nairobi Seven Seafood and Grill several times during visits to Nairobi the last couple of months, and enjoy it every time.

A visit to Seven Seafood & Grill is worth it even just for the 3 dippings sauces served at the beginning with bread.

We've tried Seven for lunch, sundowners/bitings and dinner.

The dinner menu has always been excellent, but we were a bit disappointed by our lunch visit a few weeks ago.

My lady's fish burger was bland, my chicken dish, was extremely small and I was upset that the server refused to give me gravy or any kind of sauce for my mashed potatoes without a couple of dollars extra charge.

The Duet of Calamari is always phenomenal and the "Defishency" fishbowl is our favorite.

As can be seen from the photos, the atmosphere is loungy/swank with its modern chic decor and lighting.

Besides a few minor instances like the one mentioned above, the service is excellent. The servers are observant and have great knowledge of the menu.

Also, a random observation we made on our last visit, the restaurant is wheelchair accessible/friendly.

We'll continue to make a point of dining at Seven on all our trips to Nairobi.

The only thing really missing to this place is the location.

The interior design is somehow trendy, but when sitting outside you will find yourself eating in the parking lot of the ABC plaza, which is definetly not a nice location.
