Mbuyuni Beach Village Hotel in Zanzibar

You are Here: › Mbuyuni Beach Village

Mbuyuni Beach Beach Village is a good value for money. Rooms are big and are kept clean - Staff are very friendly and VERY laid back (Hakuna Matata as they say) so a bit of patience may be required at times but its all within the spirit of the place.

Pool area is lovely which will be used more then you'd expect because the tides on the beach are massive and half of the day you cant really swim in the ocean...and even with the high tide you can't swim because there was so much sea weed everywhere...and I mean alot!

I was told that it was because of the time of year...which was probably the only "downer" during our stay. To find a proper beach with no seaweed you would walk 30-40 mins up the beach to Paje...

The food is tasty but if you are planning on staying for more then a week you will get bored of the food because the menu is quite static and the breakfast is the same every morning.
