Matemwe Baharini Villas and Hotel in Zanzibar

You are Here: › Matemwe Baharini Villas

We spent fours days in Matemwe Baharini Villas. Secluded, quiet beach cottages and duplexes with an attached restaurant. The rooms were clean and nicely renovated. We shared a very airy, pleasant common room and kitchen with another couple.

The hotel is very nice with nice bungalows and a nice restaurant. The pool is very fresh and well maintained.

The location is superb with an excellent white beach with palm trees.

Though there is normally much tide, so depending on when you are going you might have to wait a few hours for the water to come back, therefore the pool.

It is just a 20 minute boat ride to Mnemba atoll with worldclass diving/snorkelling.

The local village is just behind the hotel and it is very nice to meet with the locals.

There are only a few hotels in Matemwe so it is really an unspoilt paradise.

Thanks again for this unforgettable experience and long life to your Zanzibar adventure.
