Maji Moto Eco Camp

You are Here: › Maji Moto Eco Camp

My stay at the Maji Moto Eco Camp was one of my best experiences in Kenya.

The location is far away from all the tourist areas.

Pure nature is all around you and the scenery is amazing. I could look for hours over the spacious plains and if you are lucky you could even see some small wild life.

The camp is completely eco and the toilets here are really special.

You have to see for yourself! The masai take care of you like you are family and are real fun to hang out with.

I learned a lot about their culture. For two days I felt like one of them, I even learned to shoot with arrow and bow, to dance like a masai and how to make a fire.

The tents are simple but with comfortable mattresses and nothing can beats the view when you wake up.

The cook is amazing, the guide is funny, the guards are cute, after you leave you are going to miss them! I had a experience of a lifetime and hope to go back one day.

Absolutely bloody fantastic! My family has travelled all over East Africa on safari and I can honestly say this was one of the best trips we have ever done.

Our 2 children (age 6 & 12yrs) went almost unseen for a week and where kept constantly busy, interested and motivated by Maji Moto Camps fantastic wilderness setting and the activities on offer.

The Maasai staff and management went beyond all reasonable efforts to really introduce our children (as well as my wife and I) to the Maasai way of life, their culture and traditions.

Truly fascinating and a very unique feeling of freedom and self awareness, trekking with truly fearless Maasai warriors.

The mountain biking and walking safaris put us in touch with a very special environment that sitting in a vehicle would never have afforded us.

I really could not recommend it enough (especially for families) and we are definitely planning a return trip shortly !
