Macushla House lodge offers peace and comfort with open beamed ceilings, natural woodwork, log fires in the lounges and views over one of the last pockets of indigenous forest and complement the serenity.

Macushla House is tucked away in peace and quiet in a leafy suburb of Nairobi, twenty minutes away from the city centre in a relaxed and informal setting.

It features six bedrooms, cushioned lounges with a fireplace, an intimate dining room and a small garden terrace with a pool.

A walkway leads from the terrace into a tangled garden high over the bushy ground to a viewing platform looking out to the Ngong Hills.

Raised over the bushes one feels like they are walking from a private backyard into their own little piece of the vast savannah grasslands.

Within easy reach of interesting excursions such as Karen Blixen Museum, Giraffe Centre and Nairobi National Park.

Macushla House is located 13 km form the city centre, 15km from Nairobi Wilson Airport and 30 km from Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

Macushla is within walking distance to the Giraffe Centre and very close to Daphne Sheldrick’s Elephant Orphanage, UTAMADUNI Craft Centre and the Karen Blixen Museum.

The overnight accommodation is spacious with en suite bathrooms for a maximum of ten guests.
