Lindsay Cottages

There are only 10 rooms at Lindsay Cottages Uganda situated between Entebbe and Kampala, which means that the service is very personalized and you are well taken care of.

If you want to be outside the busy area of Kampala, this is a very nice option - close to the city and the airport, and a good Ugandan experience.

Try the spiced African tea - it was delicious!

It is in a very nice, safe neighborhood, and is gated with a guard at all times (you will notice that Ugandans take security very seriously!).

There is free WIFI; it works in the rooms but is best in the sitting room area.

The rooms themselves are spacious and include a mini fridge, which is stocked with water.

The backyard of the hotel includes a pool, which is nothing fancy but nice when it's hot.

The rest of the backyard is very green and nicely landscaped, and there are great views of the land around and Lake Victoria.

The service and staff are great - you can sit at one of the many scattered tables out in the garden and someone will ask you if you need anything.

You can eat your breakfast outside and enjoy the lovely weather, the view, and watch the group of monkeys that live in the tree next door!

One thing to remember - you will have to pay in cash.
