Lemala Manyara Safari Lodge

Unlike the other tented camps we stayed in, the grounds at Lemala Manyal Hotel were less developed and much more natural.

The tents were also more "tent-like" - we actually found them to be quite nice and comfortable.

Lots of birds around.

The staff member who was assigned to our tent was exceptionally nice and helpful.

He not only made sure we had everything we need, but also took us on a short bird walk in the morning.

The staff at this camp were amazing - always available to help and very friendly.

I cannot recommend the Lemala Camps highly enough! We stayed at three Lemala luxury camps: Manyara, Ngorongoro, and Ndutu.

The staff at the Lemala camps was so attentive, kind, eager to assist and communicate. We felt absolutely safe from nocturnal animals at night at our sundowners and in our tents knowing we had Masai warriors and savvy staff watching the camp overnight.

Let me say next, the food was DELICIOUS! Every meal had new flavors and beautiful presentation (with our without meat).

Your tent's private purser ensures that you always have plenty of hot water for your bucket shower, your tent is clean, and your bed is turned down at night.

The location is great - easy access to the game viewing. It's not uncommon to see some game like a giraffe, elephant, or zebra from your breakfast table.

One more time I would like to state that the gracious staff, their patience, and willingness to assist in making your trip everything you hoped for, is unparalleled.

Our group actually missed the staff from each camp every time we left the camp for another Lemala camp...but then quickly, we became attached to the new Lemala camp staff.

Oh yes, and the cool damp clothes upon arrival at the camp each day after long dusty game drives is a simple but perfect touch!
