We came across Kohinoor Suite Hotel in Mombasa due to the recommendation of our taxi driver. I found the people at the reception very friendly. It is in town Mombasa and near most of the bars and clubs only a 5 min taxi ride.


The rooms were quite spacious and we had one with two beds. The room was really pretty clean. There was hot water at night when we took a shower but in the day I don't know if they run the hot water.


Overall it was priced in the $65 range - and I thought it was a nice stay. Nothing fancy and just simple basic place to hang your hat for a night. TV - air cond and not too loud.
